Growing up in the small town of Waynesboro Tennessee right outside Nashville, Tennessee Justin grew up going to an old fashioned Barber by the name of Junior Jackson and as a boy, he remembers going for a haircut, The smell of the neck powder, aftershaves, older men sitting around the shop, newspapers and magazine rack. Mr. Jackson would always whistle while he snipped away at his hair and say sit still boy as the tickle of the clipper buzzed around his head. Mr. Jackson would always give him a sucker at the end of his haircut and each time Justin rode by his shop and saw him outside he would wave and Mr. Jackson would always wave back.
The Good ole days have gone by but we always talk about them, Well Justin has had a passion since he became a barber in 2010 to sorta re-create the experience he had as a kid at Mr. Jackson's Sanitary Barbershop and bring back those childhood memories we all once had going to the "Old Fashioned Barbershop"
Justin was talked into becoming a barber by his late pastor who had been a barber for over 60 years and so his pastor and some others began to instill the craft of being a barber in him. So in 2010, Justin began his training and in 2014 Justin decided it was time to branch out on his own after working for another shop to open "Justin's" He and his wife Brittany have been married for over 14 years and they have together 3 children, Nate, Emma, and Jeremiah. Justin loves doing all types of haircuts and will be sure to make sure that you are well satisfied with your haircut before you leave, His goal at Justin's is to create an atmosphere that you can bring your whole family to and enjoy. Justin loves to collect old-fashioned barbershop memorabilia and watch the Andy Griffith show.
